These cosy hand warmers are inspired by the + used in the Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft logo and repeated throughout the building. The pattern gives instructions for 3 sizes – they make great stash busters and are a simple, quick make for last-minute presents. If you’ve got any yarn left over from the Bourne Jumper, they make great companion pieces!
These hand warmers are knitted in the round, every round knit, each round starts at the inner thumb side. You can use either Main Colour or Contrast Colour yarn for the cast-on and cast-off edges, depending on which yarn you have the most of. If you’re concerned that you have slightly less yarn left over than the amounts stated, you can always work fewer rounds at the top and bottom striped borders.
